Where is Freedive Experience located?

We are running most of our activities, including courses, trips and trainings from Split. There is no physical base, our base is our boat! On special request, we can organize group activities also outside of Split.

Where to go freediving in Croatia?

The Croatian Coast has a 3000 km long coast line and over 1300 islands = fantastic freediving territory. Freedive Experience is the leading place to go Freediving with in Dalmatia, located at the center of the Dalmatian Coast in Split.

What is the sea temperature in Croatia like?

During Summer the surface sea temperature hovers around 25-26c, but during peak summer, it may reach maximum temperatures of up to 28c on the surface. There might be a thermocline, which progresses in depth throughout the summer, until it vanishes mid September.

What is the best time to go Freediving in Croatia?

The best time for Freediving in Croatia is from June until October, but you can expect May and November to be still comfortable with some extra Neoprene :)

How long does the Freediving season in Croatia last?

From May until November, which is where water temperatures are above 20c

How deep is the sea around Split?

60m depth are accessible within 10min of boat ride. It takes 30min for 80m and more. If you want top conditions, you might want to join our freediving training camp/retreat in Kanica, where there's +100m depth accessible within 2min boat ride!

Where are Freediving Retreats held in Croatia?

Our Freediving Retreats or Training Camps are held in Kanica near Rogoznica, a calm village surrounded by sea, with wild beaches and almost unlimited depth just minutes by boat.

Should I bring my own equipment to the freediving activities?

Your equipment fits you the best! But if you're travelling light, or don't have your own equipment, you can rent it from us for a small fee! For Freediving Courses equipment is included!
